Brakelbos — Attraction in Brakel

I liked it very much! It's small, but full with big trees, and just enough highs and lows for a nice easy hiking experience. For some the walking paths could need some maintenance, but I like the sort of rough, or "decadent stile", like wilderness is beginning to conquer it, kind of hiking paths. And it loved to walk through the muddy terrain, and just feel the winter vibes of the forest. We where early enough to see the the sun rise trough the trees and light breaking the dark forest. It's ok to walk 2 max. 3 hours, but it is a very busy small forest so do not expect to be walking in solitude for a long time. If you are close by you can visit it, but I didn't find it worth the trouble to drive long spells to the location. (Visit was in...
