I visited this place with my hiking club, and we were a group of 6 persons all in all. We had reserved from home, and this was very easy to do by phone.||||We arrived after 6pm, and it turned out, that the person to receive our payment is only present between 10am-6pm. This was a bit problematic, as we planned to leave early next day to get most out of our day. However, we managed to pay next morning to someone else, when we explained the situation.||||Being 6 persons we had our own group room with own toilet and shower. Everything was clean and in order, and both sheets and towels are provided. A true luxury for tired hikers, and this for only 65 EUR all in all! The 3 beds were "real" beds, the 3 others were dragged out from under the first 3, but all were good matresses. The hotel building is seperated from the castle, Petite Somme, but we could see the castle from our room and hear the chanting. Actually we were awoken by the chanting 5am, because we slept with open window, but when the ears had gotten used to the sound, we fell asleep again.||||Unfortunately there was no breakfast in the morning before 10, and this is a huge minus, taking my rating from 5 to 4. As a hiker, one wants proper breakfast early, so one can get going before the sun gets too hot. We had to hike the 5 km to Durbuy to get breakfast at a café there. At the night of arrival however, we had the dish of the day for 12 EUR. This was a delicious plate of vegetarian indian food, and we were all very content. The eating area is in conventional cantina style with a nice view to the park, but nothing special or exotic.||||All in all a place I will recommend, also if one is not religious! There is a lot of possibilities to attend religious ceremonies, but if one as us wants just to stay, this can be done with no problem. Actually one in the group was almost a bit disappointed of how "normal"...

Read moreThis one, the guest house of ISKCON temple Belgium (the Radhadesh). The rooms were clean with nice devotional staff. It take a considerable time to reach this spot Petite Somme, but they have every arrangements made for that. They sent us a cab to the train station Barvoux and it was very cheap. It costs only 6EUR to reach the guest house from the train station. I booked the room a couple of days before my arrival, since it was planned suddenly before stating of my business visits to Koln and Dusseldorf. However they arranged a room for me and my friend and did a wonderful service. Breakfast was provided, at the last moment we came to know that the breakfast was the prasadam from the temple of Krishna. It was so tasty and I ate a lot, such that I can survive my day without any further food...!! They also have a Vegetarian restaurant attached with the hotel. They served a typical Indian food.||||This is located in a typical country side of Belgium and it gave me a wonderful pleasing memory for me. I would like to visit this guest house...
