Begijnenvijvers — Attraction in Hechtel-Eksel

I enjoyed walking around here. It has a beautiful view and next to the lakes there's also a forest you can explore. The only downside is that it's not very easy to get there, we had to walk around 30 minutes to get there from our bus stop. Also, there were many dead fish laying on the grass in the sun, you probably can imagine they didn't smell great. Though I definitely recommend this place for the amazing views! Heerlijk oord in Hechtel om te ontspannen en tot rust te komen aan enkele schitterende vijvers midden de natuur dichtbij het limburgs fietsnetwerk, meer bepaald tussen de knooppunten 274 in Helchteren en 05 in Wijchmaal. In het lokaaltje van de lokale visclub is een fijne kantine "Begijntje", waar het goed toeven is. De openingsuren staan op een bordje naast de fietsroute.
