Agree with what other people posting have said. We walked this today and what was said by Tourist information in La Roche as a 2 hour loop walk turned into a 5 hour + wandering in circles walk, and that is with 2 people who do a lot of walking and following trails. The trail signs are not at all clear (red/white and blue flags pointing various ways and sending us in circles), and we probably should have turned back and come back the same way rather than press on; but hey ho, a beautiful and strenuous walk, and would rather have done it than not.

After all these years traveling around Belgium this is still one of my favourite spots 😍 There’s just something about the majestic cliffs that leaves you breathless when hiking on them (or it’s the fact that you’re climbing down and up 😅). Park at the abandoned hotel and go straight next to it into the forest. After a few minutes you’ll see the cliffs where you can follow its path until you can go down by chains. Then follow the river on the right all the way round to get back up through the forest to the parking lot.

an adventurous hiking trail on steep rocks. You get some great views once on top, but you have to be in good shape to get there. You can also stroll on the banks of the river which is much easier to do. The hiking trail goes in a loop and it takes about 1h30-2h to complete. There is a parking lot right before entering the forest.
