Indeed, it is a lovely Belgian part of the national heritage to visit on a sunny weekend. We chose the area for a beautiful walk with our 2 ginger doggos. The castle is surrounded by cozy green corners, and kids can play in the playground. It deserves a 5 star if it wasn't for the tons of trash we stumbled upon in the rural surroundings. We crossed some of the forests and fields, noticing the many empty beverage cans, plastic wrapping, bottles, and even dumped trash bags. Read moreAmazing landscape and charming castle! The castle isn't very big, and the visit takes about 1.5 - 2 hours. My two sons had a great time with the treasure hunt, which ended in the Dragon Room with a hidden treasure. As a final touch, they even received a Chevalier certificate — a lovely souvenir!
One suggestion: the tavern in front of the castle could expand its menu and improve the service.
