Agréable petit musée niché dans le charmant village de Ittre sur une artiste belge méconnue mais à l’œuvre fort varié (figuratif, cubisme, abstrait). Le musée est en deux parties, occupant deux bâtiments distincts dans un même domaine (une ancienne chapelle et une maison particulière où Marthe Donas a logé, le rez-de-chaussée accueille les expositions temporaires). Le musée est gratuit mais le visiteur peut laisser une donation à la sortie de l’ancienne chapelle.

La présentation, bien que parfois succincte (particulièrement dans l’exposition temporaire), est riche en références (le visiteur se fera guidé chaleureusement... bien que j’aime avoir mes aises :o) ) et renouvelée fréquemment. À voir si vous êtes de passage dans le Roman Païs.
