Track Cycling - Kempens Landscape — Attraction in Kapellen

Great 2-3 hours spent in nature and a little exercise for the knees :) Reservation and payment via their website without problems, large free parking lot. Nice staff - 2 young men. Instruction in English without problems. The possibility to go to the toilet at the beginning and at the end of the track. At the destination "Braschat old airport" there is plenty of free space/tables for a picnic, restauration, draft beer, toilets, a children's playground under trees. Possibilities for improvement: trolley departures at different times (at least 15-minute intervals.) notices on the route in English what is necessary to do repair of some bicycles= unfortunately they didn't have numbers, and on the way back we had a broken one. -staff can be nicely dressed - sports uniform with company logo Mount a small table on the front of the bicycles (space for water, a go-pro, ...) . The idea of this is very good and I believe that they will be many people with positive reviews, but if I have to be honest, my experience were not so good. I had no idea what Im going into. My first mistake was that I was booking it over the phone and I haven't checked the website really well. That is on me. I booked via phone, but I haven't get clear information, so I just thought that I can come,take the rail bike and go... That is not how it works. My biggest problem was that I'm shorter woman 155cm and I simply couldn't pedal. I was too short and it was very slow and painful. I see that uf you are taller,you dont have this problem. Do not do this if you are shorter person. Also you cant just stop and enjoy the nature because there will be people going after you and this is only one way railway you have to go...

Wonderful family experience! It was a but rainy day but the roof on the cart worked well! Also, I was too late with reservation but it was possible to get the bike without it (make sure that you will call or email at first!). We were two adults, 7 yo, baby in the stroller and dog. Family bike was a great option for us. Bike cycling goes easy, you can make a small stops during the way to watch the nature, there is old bunker next to the rails. Nature is so beautiful there! Stesring the cart was pretty easy, in some places you need to tourn the track, at first it may seems to be a bit complicated but later goes easy!
