A monument to match Victor Hugos ego. Where he lied about the Battle and the victory over the Tyrant Napoleon (who he weirdly viewed as a hero). Doesn't fit in with the History or the Battlefield though it can be seen from most corners of...

Interesting column dedicated to Victor Hugo. It's dangerously close to the edge of the road, so be careful while taking your photos. It's not worth driving out of the way for, but definitely stop while checking out the Waterloo...

La colonne fut remise en état pour le bicentenaire, magnifique restauration qui était plus que nécéssaire 👍 Quelques bancs pour méditer sur le pourquoi de tant de victimes.

Le monument se trouve près de la ferme "Belle Alliance" actuellement Le Rétro.
