The perfect rainy-day activity in Belgium: be an astronaut for a day at the Euro Space Center! 🚀 This amusement park in Libin (province of Luxembourg comes close to being a training centre for astronauts. You can spend an entire day here learning about the cosmos and the exploration of space while conducting some astronaut tests like: 🚀 feeling the pressure when a rocket ship departs 🚀 being weightless for a second 🚀 walking on the moon 🚀 driving a Mars vehicle
and so much more! It’s truly perfect if you want a rainproof activity for kids, but also adults will find it fun! 😍 A ticket costs €33, but it’s cheaper when you book online beforehand đŸ€« 📌 Save this to visit later! #eurospacecenter #visitbelgium #belgium #travelbelgium #astronautlife #astronaut #spacecenter #belgiĂ« #belgique

The overall impression is positive but I think the main public would be young children interested in STEM and space. If you are a young adult, then you'll find some interest in the space rotor and that's pretty much it. Freefall and VR activities are interesting but not enough to keep you a whole day. On the hand, pricing at the restaurant is reasonable (15€ per menu which includes a burger+drink). Depending from where you come, GPS navigation is somewhat complicated and there isn't that much signs to guide you. I think the biggest con is that quite a few activities (space shuttle, zero g climbing and suspended repairs, diving pool, etc) are reserved for big groups with reservation only. So it felt like there was a paywall inside the park, definitely not a good impression to be had. If you come with your kids or a group of kids, they will have incredible fun but less so for adults. At 31€ per adult, I feel it is slightly expensive for what you get, maybe around 25 would be more adequate.

When reading some of the reviews here, I was not sure what to expect. After more than six h spent there today, I asked my 8yo son what his evaluation was, and his answer was five stars without a doubt. I can only agree! We had a lot of fun already in the space hub, where we spent quite a lot of time. After lunch, we had in the voyager restaurant, which was very lovely, we advanced to the training hall. Moonwalk/Marswalk, Freefall slide and the whole Mars village were outstanding and the best for my son (especially all missions on Mars). For me, the best experience was the Space rotor. We finished with Planetarium, and it was time to go home. To summarise - a great experience with a super friendly staff. We are happy to return soon.

I can see why this place has 4 stars on Google and not more. This could be SUCH a cool place and it ALMOST is. Instead it's a bit half-cooked like the food in their restaurant. It's too bad.

For example: Such a cool idea to offer a presentation to an international group in different languages (Space Tour). BUT: First of all: why not make a big deal of this (it's cool to be European and offer this in 5 different languages simultaneously after all). Second, the technology has to work (we had SEVERAL headsets that didn't work). Third, the background music in the rooms is way too loud. Fourth, way too much information is given in a short space of time and at a high speed with an accent that makes it really difficult to understand (German version). Fifth, ensure the rulers have the right colour and are on a piece of string that's long enough (again, a cool idea, but we couldn't measure a thing because the bloody string was not long enough). Half-baked unfortunately. Almost there, but not quite. Great foundation though - just needs a few tweaks. Another example: Space Rotor. Neither staff members nor posters are telling people how many Gs are at play here and how it relates to space travel. Why? That's simply a bit lacklustre not to tell people how an activity relates to space travel and at that point you're also failing to awe people. Suggestion to management: visit the Wonderlab at the Science Museum in London and see how they combine technical explanations and awing people. Another example: the Planetarium holds a max of 25 people and runs every 30 min or so. Why not have a clear queueing system? Instead, everyone just pushes in at the last minute and it becomes very stressful. Really liked the Mars Village. Watching a short but very informative movie about Mars on those pillows was a treat. The children loved the rovers. I enjoyed reading about MOXIE (how...

Pros: Good job in rebuilding interier/exterier, very fresh look, nice restaurant (good meal), very friendly and supportive personnel Cons: Missing reservation system caused brawl especially at planetarium: capacity 15 persons and waiting time is 25 minutes you wait directly in front of the toilets you thing you get into the next group until you realize that people waiting there actually reserve several places for their friends/family, then you hear "complet" from lady with poker face I have witnessed two brawls as there is non existing ticketing system, our self we heard three times 'complet' so frustrated kids missed planetarium - fault of management, not the workers there

Only few attractions are accessible, the business "wait & eat" model is forcing you to spend more time then necessary and to go to the restaurent (requested feedback was mostly oriented for restaurant) We have missed recent/actual information like James Webb Telescope and more

People were frustrated from nonexistent ticket system for capacity limited attractions (especially Planetarium & 5D) and they would like to get chance to reserve at least one of the "non-accessible" attraction

Summary - 2 stars hoping to get attention to fix the issues,...

OK - the big headline - LOOK AT THE WEBSITE FIRST! The amount of negative reviews on here is purely people having inaccurate expectations because they didn't look at the website first. Another hint - 1030 was a perfect time to arrive.

Yes there are some activities that are purely for schools/those staying for the weekend package. The reviews from within COVID era should be disregarded in my view. The place is so interactive, that even with restrictions lifting, I can imagine a lot of things still weren't allowed to be used.

But there is so much to do now! We were there from 1030 - 1630. Packed day with brilliant activities, interactive tasks/quizzes. Yes you have to queue for some things - but what do you expect?!

We had lunch in the voyager cafe - yes we queued, yes the kids moaned a bit, but the food was fab when we ate it (so much so, just a light supper needed this evening).

Our children are 9 and 11 - definitely the perfect ages, any younger and I am not so sure they get much out of it (and they might be too small for some things).

Staff friendly and helpful and the girl I spoke to at the shop really appreciated the positive feedback. Honestly it really was a...
