Fantastic park as an introduction to forests, forestry, and forest life, suitable for a very broad age range. There is plenty to see, explore, and discuss, presented in engaging and creative ways.
Some parts can become a bit crowded, particularly on the high-walk where some families may monopolise the activities and games along the way, but it's not a high disruption.
The playgrounds are also a particular highlight, being creatively constructed with consideration for parents and children alike. Considerable care, thought, and maintenance keeps the park in excellent condition compared with similar attractions.
While there is a natural emphasis on French, almost everything is signed in French, Dutch, German, and English, and likewise the very friendly staff were also all seen comfortably speaking in at least French, Dutch, and English. This is contrary to other reviews from several years ago.
The on-site brasserie has an excellent bar and a reasonable menu, although it's disappointing to see a lack of vegetarian options. Nevertheless it should be easy to find something and the staff are quite accommodating for dietary needs. Kids meals include a token for an ice-cream, making them quite a reasonable deal.
Frustratingly their season passes are priced strangely, such that if you purchase one at the end of the year it costs the same as at the beginning of the season, regardless of how long is left in the season. Many other amusement parks have moved to providing annual passes rather than a pass just for a particular year, and those who don't offer discounts at the end of the season. It's a shame this has not been considered, since it would be worthwhile to return regularly, especially if only for the excellent playgrounds.
Definitely worth a visit, a real gem...
Read moreOur family recently visited Parc Chlorophylle, and we had an absolutely lovely day, especially for the kids! The good weather definitely enhanced our experience, allowing us to fully explore and enjoy the park's offerings.
The park itself was incredibly clean, earning a well-deserved 5-star rating from us. We also appreciated the child-proof design, making it a safe environment for our little ones to run around and have fun.
When it was time for lunch, we dined at the park's cafeteria. The cleanliness was quite good, earning a solid 4-star rating. Our kids enjoyed their fries and chicken nuggets, which were tasty and satisfying. My wife ordered a veggie burger menu, and I opted for a burger menu. Both burgers were just okay; however, my meat burger was served too raw, to the point that it almost seemed to "moo" at me when I took a bite. Considering the taste, we didn't feel that the burgers were worth the money.
Our meal included two ice teas and two Coke Zeros, bringing the total cost to 70 euros. In the end, the food earned a 3.5-star rating from us.
Overall, Parc Chlorophylle is a fantastic destination for a family day out, particularly for the kids. While the dining experience could use some improvement, the park's cleanliness and child-friendly features make it an excellent choice for a fun day in the great outdoors.

Read moreI can only give this parc 5 stars. The location of the parc is beautiful. Very remote, but I'd say that allows the concept to work, as it provides a lot of room. Only thing that might be a bit harder for other people is the fact the parc itself lacks toilets. If you need to go there, you're gonna have to get back to the entrance (which at most is about a 15-minute walk I'd wager).
There are many activites for children, that seem to be fun or engaging for parents as well. Additionally there are some playgrounds for young children and for older children. I think the highlight of the parc is the path laid out amidst the trees that's just beautifully placed among the crowns and stems, that seems to float above the floor.
We brought our daughter who's slightly younger than 2 years old. She was still a bit young for the educative part of the parc experience. As such, we plan to come back...
