Ardennes American Cemetery — Attraction in Neupré

Our family visited on Veterans Day 2022, marking the 5th American Cemetery we've visited in Europe. It was just as impressive and wonderful as the others before. Although small, I am always brought to tears. Most notable to me, on this day, was the number of Belgian, Dutch and French families that were visiting the American Cemeteries, bringing flowers, wreaths, prayers and their families.

Neuville-en-Condroz, where my maternal family lives. They survived the Nazi's invasion into their homes because our brave American soldiers arrived, killing and pushing them out. Many Belgians and villagers still take flowers to grave sites in honor of the soldier's families. A must see to truly understand the routes, sacrifices and bravery they made to win WWII battles. #WWIIHistory ...
