I saw the tower from ground. It looks pretty cute. I didn't buy tickets because I was there before noon and no one was at the tower, which made me doubt the worthiness of $5 ticket. Apparently, more people arrived after 12pm, and this point I didn't want to deal with the line of tourists. Recommend to come early and enjoy the tower yourself. Also, it looks like children are more likely to like this activity.

Payed parking. Look for less visited hours on google. An amazing 50 meter high observation tower in the Belgian part of Vaalserberg near the Drie Landen Punt. Built in 1993, when an older tower was demolished it is 17 meters higher than its predecessor. This time with both an outdoor metal staircase and an elevator. Easy access for the disabled people also. Quite enjoyable. A bit dirty though...

Half an hour we waited for a guy to open the ticket booth. While he was "setting up" chairs on a nearby terrace. When he was done, he reluctantly opened the ticket booth. The glass windows of the tower were so dirty you could not see through them anymore. Finally at the top... the trash bin was (already/still) full (we were the first up there today). The view was nice tho... I guess

When entering the tower, I asked the cashier if there were reduced fees for handicapped people. She told us that there were none, which is contradicting some reports of people on this platform. When showing my official disability card, she took it and read it, asking about my nationality and whether I was a turkish citizen because I have an umlaut in my name. I told her about my handicap and she argued that it was irrelevant for my visit at the tower. At this point, she was getting angry and made me feel like I was not eligible for any kind of reduction on the tower, so I payed the full price of 2*4€ for two persons. Even though the full price was payed, the expectations could not have been worse. Please, clean the windows of your elevator, because any light can hardly pass through! The floor is rugged and in bad condition, the stairs are slippery when wet (not safety-compliant) and do not have any pro-friction material. Please get your tower in order or get lost, inform clearly about reduced fees for the handicapped (which is mandatory in some countries)! To the visitors: just visit the three-country-point and its monument, it's fine, and avoid this...

very unpleasant guy at the booth. He even did not wanted to eye contact and looked disgusted to me or help me with my questions. After I asked if I should pay with card because he literally brought the machine out he told me: "decide what you want to do". Well you are the one who is unsure. If you are unhappy with the job just do not work there. He could very well be replaced with an automat. This place is just trash. Everywhere is dirty and old. Nobody was even sitting at their place below tower. Replace the automat and shut the place down. This way the prices would go down for a not very breathtaking view :) so does not worth for 5€ and a person who wants to patronize you for no damn...
