Great local museum that focuses on the history of the town of Kelmis, the old mining facilities which were vital for the development of the town, Neutral Moresnet, and the old language "Esperanto". The entry ticket comes with an audio guide. 4 languages are available: French, German, English, Dutch To go through the whole exhibition and to have enough time to listen to the whole audio guide you should schedule about 4 hours. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Prices are fair. 6 € for students. Free parking spots available. I would recommend comming here.

The exhibit on Neutral Moresnet is really well done and definitely worth visiting - very interactive with a lot of different elements to explore. The audio guides are very detailed (also available in English). The other exhibits weren't amazing honestly but the little gift shop was good and the staff were fantastic - really helpful and willing to chat and answer some questions. The building itself is also beautiful and lovely to explore.

An hour at max to visit this small museum emphasizing on zinc mining in the area in the past. Good to hear how this small locality was able to control huge empires and even countries through the centuries, before and after the world wars. Zinc was a very crucial metal then for every day-to-day tasks. Knowledgeable guides.
