Drohme Park — Attraction in Uccle - Ukkel

I love the place, have been going there for 2 years on a regular basis, as a student of the School of Rock, one of the different businesses within the premises. Now, this summer out of the blue a barrier for parking control has been placed in the parking with no explanation and two gang style fellas are there close to the barrier denying access to the parking, bullying and discriminating clients, providing zero explanation about the reason why you cannot access the parking and yelling at you. Happened to me yesterday and I spoke with several friends that have experienced the same. I hope the property manager of the site would read this and will at least kick out these guys and they would be replaced but a professional security company. Also access to the parking has to be on a first come, first served basis, not reserved for only the golf course or the O2 terrace clients. Put a machine expending tickets and that’s all. I’ve played there 6-7 times, practice+course. During winter, the quality of greens and fairways was deplorable. Puddles everywhere, mud, wet sand coming out of the greens. Things got a bit better during the “dry” season but still far from continental Europe standards (not even considering Uk/Irish ones). Might be ok for beginners (they have a busy golf school with some very good and friendly pros) but Royal Amicale Anderlecht golf club, also in Brussels metropolitan area, is way better for both the overall quality of the course (9/18 holes), for the driving range, putting green and...

Visited the place with office colleagues for my first gold lesson. This is historical place in Brussels and used to be horses racing place. This is a nice golf course with plenty of space.

Practice area for shot is very good and long. You can free you hand by using iron or wood rods.

The golf course has only 9 holes and some renovation work is going on. Also grass is bit dry these days. However it is worth to visit...
