ZooParc Vallée de la Sûre — Attraction in Vaux-sur-Sûre

Great Park ! Very friendly staff. We did the tour in 1h30 including an animation that showed us snow owls being fed with educational means. The park is cozy, keeping and honouring the nature around it. Don’t go there if you want to visit something superficial where everything is about money, go there for an enjoyable moment where respect is at the center. You see that the keepers really care about wellbeing of the animals. It is authentic and warm. Some of these animals had past life with difficulties, were rejected and lost. They found a place with an inspiring owner that started to build this park with small capacities, but a big heart, only 3years ago. A family- A story...

Bit of a disappointment…even at the reduced entry fee. Its a very small zoo and that in itself will not change but many animals advertised have not yet arrived (zebra, maki, pole fox). the paths are very uneven and paved with loose (sharp edged) stones. This makes it difficult to push a stroller and/or let a toddler walk on his own. In itself the concept has potential yet we can not keep wondering if the original entry fee versus the quality (when fully completed) is worth it……!? unfortunately we dont think it will… Another tip: please provide your website also in other languages (e.g. Dutch, English, German) if you want to target an...

Dit leuke, kleine dierenpark is toch een leuke parel in de natuur. Zoals aangeven op webiste en brochure niet dagvullend, maar vooral een mooie tussenstop die we toevallig passeerden op weg naar huis.

Mede door de temperatuur was de activiteit van de meeste dieren minimaal (logisch). Toch waren enkele dieren, vooral in het bos, zeer actief.

Duidelijke communicatie over de lengte van het bezoek, daardoor voelde het park als een leuke korte tussenstop, waarin verwachtingen correct waren.

Er was ook een voedertijd, waar de attente verzorgster het hele park rondliep om al het publiek op te trommelen. Toen de pak en beet 20 man aanwezig waren, heeft ze een best lange presentatie in het Frans gegeven. Als niet Franstalige niet altijd ideaal, maar het was leuk en bijzonder om zo'n gepassioneerde verzorgster te zien vertellen over maki's, lemuren en het regenwoud.

Toch enkele rariteiten, zoals de Noord Amerikaanse Rode eekhoorn en de Jaguarondi.

Geen horeca (wel ijs en mogelijkheid tot nuttigen eigen voedsel en drinken) verder goed onderhouden pad. Vooral een leuke locatie met kleinere kinderen.

Ik denk dat dit een leuk park is om in de toekomst te volgen, wat door het enthousiaste en jonge team wordt uitgebouwd tot een mooier en mooier...
