Mormally I don’t share these kid of reviews by My recent visit to Bellewaerde Aquapark was extremely disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn other families.
Forced to Eat Their Unhealthy Food:The park has a strict policy that prohibits bringing any outside food, essentially forcing families to purchase their overpriced and unhealthy menu items. These options are far from suitable for children, and when I tried to discuss these unreasonable rules, I was threatened with expulsion from the park. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially for families with young children.
Day Ticket Scam: Despite purchasing a full-day ticket, we were told to leave the park at 3 PM. This is nothing short of a scam. A day ticket should mean access for the entire day, not just a few hours.
Outrageous Food Prices: The prices for food and drinks in the park are exorbitant, even more expensive than what you'd find on the Champs-Élysées! A coffee costs 5 euros, an ice cream 5 euros, and cheese fries a staggering 11 euros, with terrible quality to match. A burger costs 20 euros, so you can imagine how much a family of four would have to spend for just a half-day of swimming. It's an outrageous rip-off.
Lack of Basic Hygiene:Perhaps the most alarming issue is the absence of soap in the restrooms. It’s is not that Salam was run out, there is no soap facility!!!This is a serious health and safety violation, particularly in a place where hygiene is crucial. It’s shocking that a facility like this would neglect such a basic necessity, putting the health of all visitors at risk.
In conclusion, Bellewaerde Aquapark fails to deliver on every level. Between the unreasonable rules, the blatant scam with their tickets, the extortionate prices, and the lack of hygiene, it’s clear that they care more about making money than providing a safe and enjoyable experience for families. I strongly advise against...
Read moreFirst of all you should take Mexico parking direction to access Bellewaerde park. otherwise the map drives you to Its Aquapark. there are plenty of parking lots on the spot and it costs 13€ for a car, no matter how long you stay. in the park enterance they check out your shoulder bag if you carry any. the wheelchair ♿️ enterance is also possible. we started our day with Huracan attraction. we went through many tunnels which were dark, and lacked oxygen for so many people in there! I do not recommend this attraction for those who have breathing problem. the waiting time was not mentioned anywhere near the attraction. It took us 35 minutes to have our 30 seconds ride. It was cool though. The Boomerang attraction was the best among all we tried. the best thing abOut this park is the combination of water, zoo, and attractions, so you don't need to always be on roller coster and giving your body a shock! the waiting time for attractions were not mentioned except for one, as far as we noticed. and this is a negative point for such park. The toilletes were not well taken care of, and could be cleaner. there are plenty of chairs to rest and have a calm moment all along the park. India part in the parc was the smallest part! and Bengal express was not active! I really wanted to have that ride! maybe next time! the majority of staff spoke both dutch and french which was great. good and drinks are everywhere and you don't miss them. another remarkable thing is that there are recycle bins everywhere, which is great. I did not try the water activities this time because it was not that warm for me to go to the water. thank you team Bellewaerde and I hope this detailed review helps you out in any...
Read moreYesterday, we had the most unpleasant experience in an amusement park, at Bellewaerde. We took a ride in the so called Bengal Express. The whole idea was to ride through the tigers and lions area, with the animals walking freely. First surprise: no lions or tigers, just a construction site. If only someone would have informed us before. No sir, no need. No problem we sought, it won't take long, so... Unfortunately, the last wagon of our train wanted to prove us wrong. And it did. At some point, that wagon started to shake like a brazilian dancer from Rio. By the way, it was full of children and parents, who, at some point, started panicking. We had no idea how to react (nobody told us how in case of an emergency), so all we did was waving to the people in the first wagon. Finally, the last wagon derailed. Somehow, the train stopped. We kinda hoped that, with the use of the speakers inside the wagons, we will be informed about what will happen next. You wish!!! Total silence. After about 20-25 minutes, some completely bored employees appeared, opened the doors and showed us the direction we have to follow. Nobody asked us if everyone is ok, maybe some apologies for a change. The next disappointment. When I asked the person who pretended to be in charge if she realises that for the people in the last wagon, that was a really dangerous situation, she smiled and assured me that it was definitely not the case. No apologies, just follow the path. Good thing the lions and the tigers...
