The Bluff — Attraction in Ypres

Very informative and well marked WW1 battlefield. The only location of the Ypres salient where the Allied forces had higher ground than the Germans. Very good documentary is shown in a comfortable half open building at the beginning of the Bluff area. The locations of the trenches are visualized with hedges. Very impressive the lookout platform at the western end, north of the Bluff craters. Together with a historic panorama photo you can see how close the trenches were with a small strip of no man’s land in between.
