One of my favorite places in Belize! My husband and I spent 4 hours here on a sunny afternoon, early March of 2022, on the way back from Caracol. We saw 1-2 other couples come through briefly but otherwise had the place to ourselves. Great pools for swimming, chutes to slide down, and waterfalls to get a natural massage. The water is probably about 75°. This would be a great spot for kids and all adults. Be prepared for zero shade! The granite slabs are slippery and very hot in the direct sun. The site has bathrooms with flushing toilets and sinks, but bring your own toilet paper and soap/hand sanitizer. Changing rooms are also present at the end of the short trail and right by the river.

There has been a lot of work done to this park in the mast few years. Now this has become a fantastical and beautiful place. To hear the not so distant roar of the waterfalls and rapids is really pacifying. And then to feel the cool breeze that is gently whistling through the trees overhead. While a songbird gently sings it song. It really does feel like you have accidentally walked into a small corner of heaven. I would highly recommend this as a picnic spot for the family or a small group. I hope everyone will remain respectful of this gorgeous place and that the maintenance staff will keep up with this wonderful park.

This place is really really nice - don't skip it if you're anywhere in the area. It's beautiful and the water is lovely. We weren't there on an especially sunny day and still had a wonderful time. A local guide told us on a sunny weekend day it's packed (with locals). We were there on a Monday and more or less had it to ourselves at first. There are change rooms and washrooms (clean, but out of toilet paper when I was there). There is no good or water for purchase so plan accordingly (we picked up chips & salsa from the Blancaneaux bar on the way). Bring your swimsuit and towel and enjoy!

About 1hr 15 min from San Ignacio and 5 min moderate hike. DO NOT MISS THIS! They have restrooms (bring your own TP), changing rooms (down by the pools) and a covered picnic pavilion. The cost is free, the experience is priceless. Cool, clear water where you can get a natural massage under rushing water or rest in a tranquil pool. We arrived around 10:45 AM and had the place to ourselves for over 1 hr. Saw 3 other cars arrive before we left. We almost skipped this, but soooooo glad we didn't. This is a Belize must do. We will come back.

Took about 45 minutes from San Ignacio by private car. The place is nice and secluded. Honestly I expected a bit more. The water was VERY brown supposedly from the recent rains. The rocks that are under water are EXTREMELY slippery with algae! I hurt my wrist slightly trying to brace myself moving thru the different pools. Overall I would think twice about coming back unless I knew in advance the water conditions. There are areas where you can put out a blanket and have a picnic. Entrance and parking is free.
