Read moreYou will notice that many of the reviews are posted by local guides with a vested interest. Be very careful when planning this trip. We went after being assured it would be great. When we arrived the lodge was closed. They cleaned up some rooms for us however had no food no drinks etc. We had to send the driver to pick up some things which was a very long drive. Saw no cats. One elephant and mostly antelope. To say that this park is overflowing with animals is an exaggeration. We were told there are probably a couple of lions left in the park but never saw any. They say that there are Cheetas and Leopards in the other reviews however I do not believe that is true. Also this area is now very close to where Al Qaeda is now operating in Burkina Faso. Travel is discouraged in nearby W National Park. Do your homework...
