Route des peches — Attraction in Cotonou

What to say about a most visited place in this beautiful live city of Cotonou? The Route des Pêches is an ambitious project of the government that aims to connect Cotonou to the high and well-known historical city of Ouidah. That city with one of the biggest tales of Benin country, where it all started with colons... But previously the project, The Route des Pêches was not initially a project but just a place I mean the beach of fidjrossè at Cotonou. One of the most visited place in Cotonou. Untill now, you can see anytime tourists, local people taking a good moment with friends, families even fish catchers with their long net lines pulling from the sea, big boats far away coming to the port, aicrafts landing or taking off and little far away to the town centre, you can admire the luxurious infrastructures like Cen-Sad villas, the big one trade center and supermarket Erevan and more.... Waiting the project over to visit all the path from Cotonou to Ouidah in front of the beach, lets have fun and good time of the vibes of...

Very good to drive or walk along the Atlantic Ocean. Nice beach good restaurants and bars along with European and African food. Whenever you are in Cotonou it's one the interesting area to relax...

La route des pêches est une très belle initiative du gouvernement béninois qui va relier Cotonou et la ville historique de Ouidah. Elle est à la date d'aujourd'hui 26 octobre 2024 encore en chantier par endroits. Je trouve que quand elle sera finie elle sera vraiment un bijou. Je vous conseillerais de rouler prudemment afin d'admirer la vue mais aussi parce que c'est une route que beaucoup de piétons traversent pour se rendre à la plage. Il y a aussi la présence permanente des forces de l'ordre qui s'assurent que les panneaux ou feux de signalisation sont respectés. Usager de la route...
