Great spot for photo on our tour of the island. There a section were ships would come thru. According to our guide it was also a diving spot. As you get to the fort, thereā€™s an amazing view on the ocean and you can see the parrot fish feeding from the nearby rock in the water.

No bus on weekends. Itā€™s a bit of a hike from St George. You can climb the little tower and there is access to small rocky beach near by. It didnā€™t seem to have opening hours.

Came down to Gates Fort with a bicycle and it provided a lovely sight and reprieve from the heat. This is a great spot to see the cut and a little piece of history.
