A magical place! The history of the ruins is very interesting, and the landscape is beautiful. There are guides and I absolutely recommend getting one since there aren’t any descriptions and you will probably not understand anything about the place without explanations.
We were lucky to find a wonderful guide by pure chance upon our arrival at the ruins. Wil not only explained everything we saw but guided us through the purification rituals. While I’m not a particular spiritual person, it was an honour and pleasure to take part in this experience. You can contact him on WhatsApp: 67056380. The boat people said we had to take a private boat to Challampampa which was 200Bs, not sure if this was true or not and maybe there was other ferries going there cheaper. We walked up to the ruins and spent some time there, the kids liked exploring the Labyrinth.
