Parque Nacional Sajama — Attraction in Municipio Curahuara de Carangas

A beautiful national park, a place not so familiar and I think one of the most beautiful places in Bolivia !!

The park is located about 3-4 hours drive from La Paz, and for those who do not have a car to get there from La Paz it is by bus. First you have to travel to a town called Patacamaya and from there take a shuttle to SAJAMa. The park is relatively isolated and a perfect place for all lovers of nature, breathtaking views, geysers, beautiful sunsets and a variety of animals.

The nature here is exquisite. Unfortunately, they charge 100 bolivianos for entry, and there is almost no perceptible maintenance of trails or signage to help you navigate. On the contrary, there are lots of barbed-wire fences that obstruct walking paths and trash strewn around the area.
