It is a lifetime experience..a wonder reed like tortora is so useful for a lot of human life support and miraculously created so many islands..community life and environment support. It was a pleasure to visit uros island and have lunch at tequila island..mesmerizing is the word. The highest navigable lake...still getting happiness bumps about the visit.

Lake Titicaca is on the border between Peru and Bolivia in the Andes. It is one of the largest lakes in South America and the highest navigable body of water in the world. Lake Titicaca is considered the birthplace of the Inca culture; there are numerous ruins on its banks. Its surface is extremely calm and highly reflective. Surrounding the lake is the Reserva Nacional del Titicaca, which offers shelter to rare aquatic animals such as giant frogs.

¡Genial!
