Parque Urbano — Attraction in Santa Cruz de la Sierra

This park is huge. From one end to the other end, walking along the paved walkway in the center of the park, is about 0.5 Miles / 0.8 KM. I found this park a nice place for my morning walk. The walkway in the center of the park is covered by trees, which means that you do not need a cap / hat if you are walking on a sunny day. There is a jogging / walking path around the park, which many people were using. People do bring in their dogs also for walks / training in this park. Outside the paved walkway, you need to be careful as not everyone picks up after their pets. I saw most of the dog owners cleaning up after their pets but did find some waste in the grass, out side the paved areas.

Although Google says that the parks opens at 0800 Hrs, I found the place left open at 0700 Hrs. Looks like it is left open 24 hours, but I cannot say for sure. But I have been walking in this park from 0700 Hrs.

There is a BBQ area within the park. Not sure about the rules of using these BBQ areas.

el parque urbano antiguamente fué una estación llamada "estación brasilera", hoy se ha convertido en un lugar de esparcimiento público que se extiende desde el primer anillo hasta el segundo anillo con una extensión aproximada de 20 hectáreas. en el lugar encontrarás un sitio ideal para realizar tus ejercicios matutinos, ya que se encuentra arborizado y cuenta con caminos ya sea para caminatas, trote o paseo en bicicleta, también tiene un terraplén para patinetas, y durante el día encontraras un lugar para ir de paseo, cuenta con banquetas y baños públicos en su interior, así mismo durante los fines de semana se llena de recreaciones como ser: artistas ambulantes, coches a pedal para conducir, juegos para los niños carruseles, saltarines, y otros, así mismo encontrarás comerciantes ambulantes que ofrecen todo tipo de productos o alguna ferias ocasionales.

Nota: debes tener siempre precaución al contacto con personas extrañas o no estar en lugares alejados oscuros o solitarios pues a veces algunos malvivientes pueden aprovechar para cometer algún delito. pero después es seguro ya que cuenta con gendarmes municipales en...
