Tito's Cave in Bosnia is a fascinating journey back in time, steeped in the rich history of the region. The cave, once a hideout for Marshal Tito during World War II, is a modest but evocative site. Nestled in the rugged terrain, the journey there is as compelling as the destination itself, offering stunning views of the Bosnian landscape. While the cave is relatively undeveloped, this lack of commercialization preserves its authenticity and the visceral connection to its storied past. Visitors should be prepared for a bit of a trek and bring suitable footwear. The experience is a must for history buffs and those looking to connect with the country's...

The two small museums consist mostly of photos, maps and limited exhibits. The climb to the cabin & cave is steep, on polished stones - definitely not recommended in flip-flops. The red-painted rail is boiling hot when exposed to the summer sun, you can easily get blisters on your palms. The cabin is closed and the cave can be entered "at your own risk". It's intriguing to see how Tito's legacy can be milked with every...

Do Titove pečine smo prispeli okrog osmih. Družbo so nam delale glasne žabe v reki Unac.

Pretty impressive sight. Unfortunately all the descriptions are in the local language and no English translation. There are 2 museum and the actual cave, which is a short and steep climb away. The ticket is 5KM (€2.50) per person and there’s a Tito souvenir shop at the entrance.
