My expectations from this place were much higher than what I found here. The museum is very small and I think that this arrangement does not suit what took place here 80 years ago. Parts have been restored, but it does not give the impression that it has been restored. A very strange impression, as if they don't want him to be here, but somehow he is here anyway. With its dilapidated edition and poor maintenance, it is more a witness to the passage of time, human unpredictability and fickleness, and - the meaning or lack of meaning of war. Read moreDo not miss this incredible piece of history. The building's architecture alone is reason to visit, but the frescos inside are fascinating and powerful. They helped me to understand and process the atrocities that happened across this region. I'm so glad that efforts have been made to preserve them and the building itself.

Displaying all this nazi simbology without any context whatsoever shouldn't be allowed in a place that is a celebration of anti-nazism and anti-fascism. Maybe with better explanations and more texts it could be interpreted correctly and framed well in the place but that wasn't the case...
