Zoo "Bambi" — Attraction in Ilidža Municipality

We discovered the Zoo center Bambi by pure luck browsing the local map: we are always in when it comes to animals so we reached it this morning. We were greeted and had a wonderful talk with the lady owner, who offered some cups of corn to feed the various animals present in the farm - super funny goats, two tall and hug-worthy alpacas, very friendly deers and donkeys, even the doves were really petting-friendly! The bunnies cage is available to walk in and pet the fluffy little guests inside. All the animals are excellently behaved and great time to be around. I strongly suggest to leave an offer for the service despite being without an entry fee, because local businesses made of great effort and love are to support in any possible way. Zoo Bambi in Hrasnica is a true hidden gem and a perfect place for families with kids. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you can really feel how much care and love goes into running this place. The best part is that entrance is completely free. They only collect donations to help feed the animals.

It’s inspiring to see how one person’s dedication and passion can create such a wonderful space for the whole community. The animals are well taken care of, the area is clean, and it’s a peaceful spot where children can learn about animals up close.

Lovely concept! Great, calm and hands on experience. Except animals there are playgrounds for kids as well. Everything is clean and the animals are treated with love and care.
