Sunnyland in Sarajevo offers a unique blend of a serene mountain drive and cozy entertainment. Nestled amidst breathtaking landscapes, reaching this spot involves a picturesque journey up a winding mountain road. The drive is an adventure in itself, showcasing the natural beauty of the area.
Upon arrival, ample and hassle-free parking is readily available, ensuring a convenient start to your visit. The attraction offers a coaster experience priced at approximately KM 20, which provides a thrilling yet relaxed ride. While my initial expectations leaned towards a larger setup, the overall experience was satisfying.
Sunnyland might not be the most expansive amusement park, but its charm lies in the fusion of its scenic location, the enjoyable coaster, and the sense of tranquility it provides. It's an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful escape without compromising on entertainment. So, if you're looking to combine a beautiful drive, a modestly sized amusement area, and a touch of adventure, Sunnyland is definitely...
Read moreI don’t think this is the right location but I dined here for breakfast one day. I think it’s called Oxygen Cafe located inside the Sunnyland facility. Nevertheless, this place is cool. Best views of Sarajevo that I’ve been able to find so far. Food is good. Service is kind. Thanks staff for speaking to me in English, I really appreciate you for that! Espresso was the best outside of Italy hahaha!
Sunnyland has some sort of luge type of roller coaster thing that looks super cool and possibly dangerous, in the best way possible.
Parking was a breeze. Getting there was a crazy uphill drive (from my google maps directions). Hello first gear! Nice to meet you. Be safe out there fellow drivers. Follow the speed limits and go slower if you need to.
Not much else to add here other than enjoy yourself. You can’t go wrong here. Prices are really fair. Food isn’t gourmet but it’s yummy. Service is so nice just like everywhere else I’ve...
Read moreI wish I had never visited this place. The food was awful. When I asked whether there were gluten free options, I was simply told no. I asked why the steak wasn't gluten free and they said its the potatoes. I said that I can eat potatoes. They said it's the seasoning. I said what seasoning? They said "salt, pepper". I said, that's not gluten. I just can't eat bread, flour etc. They finally told me there's breadcrumbs on the potatoes. Okay. I asked if they can replace the potatoes with rice - they said I'd have to pay for separately for a full plate of rice. The whole time, the blonde woman at the counter kept calling me "lady". It was incredibly rude. There's also this weird thing about ordering drinks at the table but ordering food at the bar - WHAT? And you have to take the food to the table yourself and there's only plastic cutlery. I feel like every small request I made was a massive inconvenience to the staff. Much better food...
