Treskavica hat starke Konkurrenz in der Nähe- die olympischen Bjelašnica, Igman, Jahorina. Jedoch kann kaum ein anderer Berg derartige Schönheit und Charme vorweisen. Man kann entweder die ganze Strecke zu Fuß laufen oder über Schotterstrasse (nur Lada Niva schafft das 😉 ) fast bis ganz hinauf fahren. Auf dem Weg hinauf kommt man neben alten orthodoxen und muslimischen Friedhöfen vorbei, läuft neben dem Bach und über kleine Brücken. Mehrere Zwischenstationen mit Übernachtungsmoeglichkeiten in kleinen Hütten mit Grillplatz laden zum Ausruhen ein. Wassertanken an Quellen und weiter geht's. Fast oben angekommen wirds Eben, der Bach wird langsamer und der Wald wie im Märchen. Dann noch ein kleiner Spurt und die finale Belohnung- herrlicher Blick auf die Bergspitzen und den großen See.... Auch ganz oben gibt es...

Od danas je u sjećanje na Suleta,kojeg svi znaju kao "Brada" uređena klupa na Šišanu kao i česma ispred planinarske kuće, koja nosi njegovo ime.
