All things being equal Chobe National Park was a really fun experience but also one of the most daring things I’ve done in a very long time. Overall, did a game drive and boat cruise that we booked from Livingstone, you would need a COVID booster shot to enter the country if you’re a foreigner, don’t worry much about it, I got mine on entry and well documented.
In the picture that’s me trying to get the safari vehicle to start after it broke down right in the middle of an elephant parade, so terrifying, but with patience the tour guide managed to sneak out of the truck got the battery terminals together and off we were on our way to seeing loads of wildlife, managed to see the eagle, lions, loads of elephants as Chobe is known for, giraffes, buffaloes, loads of impala, hippos, warthogs, crocodiles (almost got attacked by one, and that was my first ever sight of one) among other animals and birds.
Finished off with a great lunch at the hotel and this still goes down as my best ever safari thrilling experience. Great local tour guides, they won’t haggle you for tips either, but just great to leave one for all the good service, it’s all in the package if you book with a...

The boat ride on the Chobe River was a highlight, offering breathtaking views and unique vantage points to observe the animals in their natural habitat. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, providing fascinating insights into the behaviors and characteristics of the wildlife we encountered.
The scenery was stunning, with the park's diverse landscapes adding to the overall wonder of the experience. From the lush riverbanks to the expansive savannas, every part of the journey was a feast for the eyes.

Chobe National Park is BEAUTIFUL.
This national park didn't have much traffic so it was nice and quiet. We got extreamly close to the animals. We saw a pride of Lions hunting for their dinner, Herds of Elephants zazu and pumbaa a tower of giraffes A cackle of hyenas A bloat of hippos A dazel of zebras A herd of impala A bask of crocodiles A flock of birds A group of reptiles plus many many more living wildlife.
We also did the river cruise. Another way to explore this beautu from a different angle.
Their are area's where you can set up Camp for the night. We could hear the animals walking in the distance from our tents. Was so nice listening to all the different sounds of the animals before drifting off to dreamland.
Our local guards told us a cheetah visited and walked through our camp while we were all sound asleep.
I cannot praise Chobe National Park enough for it pure beauty. Such a fantastic introduction to...
