Stayed here for a night (campsite 3) a couple of weeks ago. Where to start. I’ll role the National Park experience into the review. Nxai Pan, disappointing… one water hole with water (August), run down buildings, heavily rutted roads. The drive in is miles of deep sand. Baines Baobabs… nice setting, VERY expensive and not worth the money. They don’t even provide a rubbish bin. For the money that is a very basic necessity. Cool experience, would not stay again. For one night we had to pay two days park fees (soooo stupid) + the campsite fees. Not worth the money compared to all other...
Read moreIt is an amazing place with a magical feeling. One of the best experience we had in Botswana. Very far away from everything and you are out in the wild. You have to like it but definitely worth to have a night there. The way to go there is quite sandy but part of the experience. We stayed at Nxai south camp afterwards so a good combo for two or more nights. Book in advance if you would like to stay there and ask about the way at the gate.
