its a small nature reserve just about 20 minutes drive from the heart of Gaborone, Botswana. I went on a 2-3 hours drive through the reserve. But as the first glimpse of Botswana wild life it was vry satisfying. We saw everything that we wanted to- Zebras, Hippos, Impalas and even the white Rhinos. The Cheetah enclosure was a bit sad as there is only one of them left (a female) currently and she looked sad. It is perfect trailer for the bigger game reserves such as Moremi, Chobe etc. and could be a great family day out. There is a restaurant and a small souvenir shop at the entrance. The ticket is about 325 Pulas, which include a packet of wafers and a bottle of water. our guide was very kind and stopped whenever we requested for taking photos. It was a great few hours in the afternoon. Even the drive from the Grand Palm hotel, where I was staying till the reserve was beautifu. If you are going for the afternoon trip, it could be hot and dry. so carrying an additional bottle of water could...

Read moreGreat, well-managed nature reserve. Friendly staff--except for one particular woman at front desk. Tour driver went out of his way to show us hippos and giraffe.
Nice serene bench area to sit at while waiting for your ride. Tour ride is very bumpy----and fun----extremely safe. Very safe, secure---yet naturally preserved area. You will feel like you are truly riding through the bush. There is SO MUCH to see and learn--from plant life to wild animals. Rescued animals and wild animals alike.
Best time to go---anytime, really. But, it's easier to enjoy in the fall, winter, and early spring. You can reserve a tour ride for your group, yourself, or simply take a ride with strangers and enjoy yourself!
Our ride was in the early afternoon, during the week, in the fall time. And YES, we will return. Well worth the money. Make sure to tip your driver for doing...
