It's a wonderful place to pass with family and or friends. Or even alone. The visitation area is completely paved with stones and has ramps almost all the way (which allows the visitation for wheelchair users). But keep in mind that there are some relatively steep sections and that there may be some sludge stones due to the humidity.

If you are more adventurous, there is a trail of about 1h30 leading to the top of the waterfall (although access to the fall view is prohibited for obvious safety reasons). The trail is quite steep at first, with many loose rocks, then has a quieter stretch that reaches the river where there are some deep wells larger than those below the fall. Not to mention that there is another trail that leads to another waterfall in the city: the Indaiá waterfall.

P.S. The trail is not recommended for those who have problems such as knees or something that makes it very difficult to get around. But there is a guide at the beginning of the trail that can better inform you about the trail situation. Either way, the walk to the waterfall (off the trail) is...

Amazing Day Enjoying Nature. The waterfall is amazing and easily accessible for two parents and our 7-year-old son. There are side paths/trails that take you down to the river bank for a swim or to other scenic views. There is also a playground, showers and bathrooms within the park. While we were swimming there were monkeys swinging in the trees above and around us. Just a cool place to spend the day. Don't forget a picnic or bug repellent. The entry cost was R$20 per adult and R$10 for a...
