paraty is a great litlle town with beutyfull beaches , and other natural attractions. but the pousadas and hotel in he city center and the hitoric center are too expensive and often fully booked. i recomend to stay in the near by jabaquara beach (20 minutes walk from the historic center or 5 minutes by hourly bus); there you can find cheaper and even better accomodation, and you will be rigth in front of a beutyfull quite beach, which is the only one thing that makes sense of the whole...
