Iguaçu waterfalls is definitely one of the best natural wonders I have seen in my entire life. When it comes to sharing some reviews about Iguaçu and the comparison with the Argentinan side: We took the bus no 120 at the Urbano terminal for 5 real and the bus took around 1 hour to arrive at the park. The staff was very helpful at the entrance of the park, we got the entrance tickets quickly through kiosk machines with credit card with no queue at 9:20am, the ticket shows your bus time as well. Then we directly moved to the long queue. This queue is for taking the internal bus (free of charge) to arrive the walking path by the waterfall, it is better to take the bus than walk. There are new busses coming constantly but again there was a big crowd and we waited for a while. We entered the path around 10am and there was no big crowds there, many people in the earlier busses probably moved on until we arrive. So you wait until you take the bus but it looks like they try to manage the flow of people there earlier, instead of bringing all the crowds to the path at once. It is a good idea because there is only one path and it helps people walk at their own pace and enjoy the view peacefully. It took 1 hour for us to walk by the path and see the waterfalls from all points of view. The view of devils throat is amazing. At the end it is possible to get wet, very close to the waterfalls. I recommend going to the Iguaçu park the first in the morning to enter without waiting with long lines. On the way back we took the internal bus again. Then we took the return bus 120 without waiting much. The Argentinian side of Iguazu had probably better views earlier when devils throat trail was not destroyed. But now Brazilian side is a bit more ahead of Argentinian side by means of better views. To see more raw nature, Argentinian side is awesome very early in...

Incredible place to go, and definitely a must when visiting Brazil. Personal advice would be to book your ticket in advance and don’t pay on the day. So you miss the big cues. Definitely book your tickets through the official site. As this makes it’s easier. 1000% get the earliest ticket available (I got the 09:10am access) Because if you want pictures at the devil throat walk way without the crowds, then get there early. When getting the free bus shuttle from the visitor center, get off at the last stop. Because this will lead you access to the devil throat. The second to last stop, is a nice walk to the falls. However if you want the ideal insta picture/video of doing the walk way. Then get off at the last stop. Bugs, Bugs and more bugs, take mosquitoes spray or cream with you too. Because theirs plenty of bugs and flys around.

The reason to get there early, is because come 11am the guests from Argentina tour come on over via buses, making the falls extremely busy. There hundreds of people everywhere on the paths and walk way. So your pictures will have crowds in them.

If you’re planning to come from Rio, it can be done. We flew the day before from GIG (with Gol, the Brazilian Airline), got an Uber from the airport to the hotel and then stay in a hotel over night in the local town. Got a Uber to the visitor station (very cheap Uber, would definitely recommend) did the falls. Then there’s a airport bus (Bus 120, which costs R10 per person, and runs every half hour and is only 20 mins away from the airport) and then got the airport for the 18:00 flight with GOL to GIG and landed at 20:00. So if you’re in Rio for a week or two, and want to do something. Then get yourself...
