Cachoeiras do Horto — Attraction in Região Geográfica Imediata do Rio de Janeiro

Hello cariocas.Welcome to my jhome town back from Lagos region tour here and my hiring.I have on efall behind my apartmentn in Humaitá,tipical of a big and forgetted fall.Where each minue costs lots of money of offices suposely,imigrants from the north,many tourists with dollars and time passing for the young finally get in labor world.Maria Eugênia is my neighboor strret name,with a fair on wednesdays and closed form cars ,only her.In me case is a dawn or small wall inside the wate,I´m not surenif to hold,probably to eleticity,pipes,tanks or so... I went very much to a few in Rio,very cool and fresh after our huge and untolerable hot beaches and very fast beer due to the hot,prices and repudy. I also have manyn here,in this valley,three hours from rio to the sap direction. This pictures are not necessaire horto fall,but very parents and our passion from my young is meet many,waste your own,don´t worry about keeping or beggling so much. Here is one of the several entrances to Tjiuca Park, where the Horto waterfalls complex is located. There are several - (1) Quebra, (2) Chuveiro, (3) Jequitiba, etc. They are located on the Solar da Imperatriz-Parque Lage section of the Transcarioca trail.

The first waterfall (Quebra) here is right at the entrance. A rather difficult trail leads to the next 2: Chuveiro ('shower waterfall) and Jequitiba, only for physically fit people and in proper non-slip footwear. Not suitable for small children.

The path is steep, rocky, requires a bit of climbing in several places and sticking to the chain.

After 3 waterfalls, the trail joins the Transcarioca trail and becomes...

A short but a quite rough hike.. But that is how I like it. You will probably come to a point where it looks like you got lost and there is no way further, but there is. You just have to climb a rock under a big tree that maybe looks unclimbable to you. It can be very slippery and a bit dangerous if you are not very fit but it was worth of it.
