Nice view to the whole city. We took uber to get to the visitor centre and walked from there. It is a relatively easy walk, just a bit of mud. However at the entrance one has to pay ONLY IN CASH 53.5 BRL PER PERSON!! total rip off, no receipt no card payment available. And this price was written no where, I assume there was an extra charge for speaking English, as on internet I read that the price is between 22-32 BRL. They do not let you in otherwise. Gran experiencia ascender en tren al cristo redentor. Se puede comer y tomar algo en el bar del lugar. La estatua es imponente (aunque en imagenes y videos parece aun mas) el servicio es mas que eficiente. Quien quiera hacer el recorrido sin agencia de turismo mediante se puede tomar mediis de transporte hasta el lugar y abonar la entrada. Pregunten donde se hospedan que los sabran asesorarlos. Porque los taxistas y vendedores de tours les diran que no hay forma de llegar. Rio es altamente recomendable recorrerla por cuenta propia, todo esta conectado de manera eficiente...

Breathtaking views from up here. It's super crowded so arrive very early in the morning. At night is also very beautiful so I would suggest to go both in the morning...
