Nice waterfall with caves closeby. You can walk in the cave and might see some bats. The walk to the waterfall is very easy and is accessible by flip-flops. The ground close to the waterfall is taken over by tree roots so is a bit harder to walk there, but it is still fine. The waterfall itself is quite big and powerful. You can swim nearby and a bit further from the waterfall and the water is very nice. There is also a platform to jump into a 4 meter deep pool. Additionally, they sell some simple drinks in the restaurant next to the waterfall. Lastly, the nature around the waterfall is beautiful and you can find some beautiful...
Read moreThis appears to be the best waterfall in the area. Large with steady fall year round. There is a refreshment stand for drinks and small bathroom. The water was a great temperature in September and bugs were not a problem. The enytrance fee in 2025 was $R20 each. There was a access walkway to the top of the falls but the actual area was closed. The walkway itself need repairs to the boards and the bathroom needed to be larger or a changing area provided. You could easily rent a car in Menaus and drive up...
Read moreŁadny wodospad i 3 jaskinie w pobliżu. Jest most z którego ludzie skaczą do 'dziury' w skale. Jeśli masz, to możesz rozwiesić hamak.
// Nice waterfall and 3 caves nearby. I was in November, so the river level was low, and the waterfall itself was narrow, but at least you could get close. There is a swimming area between the rocks where you can rest. There is a bridge from which people jump into a 'hole' in the rock. Nearby, there are picnic areas (wooden tables and chairs). You can hang a hammock if you have it. There is also a bar but I don't know prices or opening hours. The place was very crowded, I waited quite a long time before I managed to take pictures with fewer people. Unfortunately also littered - mostly beer bottles. Access to the waterfall and caves - a muddy path, a wooden bridge among the trees on a certain section, but also a narrow passage between the...
