Botanical Garden of Recife — Attraction in Região Geográfica Imediata do Recife

Very small but lovely botanic garden, shady and some benches to sit. 10-20 min and you walked all paths, but if you need a nice garden to hang out and read a book, perfect. It took me 1h to get there by bus. I misunderstood the bus line a bit and jumped off too early. I ended up in an area close by in the middle of favelas and felt a bit unsafe. I recommend highly Uber if you want to be on the save side. The second bus dropped me along the highway which was close by the garden but not fun at all tbh. A beautiful place in which you can enjoy nature in all it's perfection. If you decide to visit keep in mind there's no place to buy food nearby, you can't take food inside it and it's far from the city center. Another good thing to know is that the park is huge but you can't see it entirely cause it's a environmental reserve and only a small part of it is open to the public. If you want to see the rest you'll have to schedule a visit in advence so you can go for a trail with a guide. The open area of the park is wonderfuly beautiful but doesn't take more than 1...

Sobre o Parque é um lugar, além de aproveitar a natureza, você pode fazer passeios com a família para fazer piquenique, levar aquela avó e tia que ama planta (ótima opção de comemorar o aniversário! 😉), Fazer passeios de escola e fazer trilhas.

De segunda sexta não precisa avisar ou marcar horário para visitar! Já no final de semana é necessário chegar antes e marcar por causa da quantidade de pessoas que visita o espaço.

Para professores, coordenadores ou queiras fazer uma visitação com uma equipe grande. Você marca o dia e horário, com um mês de antecedência. (Me contaram que no dia 15 é o melhor dia para agendamento do mês seguinte)

Os guias ficam com o grupo de até 30 pessoas. Se o seu grupo for maior, eles dividem e chamam dois ou mais guias. E veja as informações no site do Jardim Botânico. Eles tem o whatsapp para fazer o agendamento!
