Nowadays there's no Seaside walk by the beach as construction is going on and limited accesses available to enter the beach as the most of it is covered u der construction.
Boiçucanga beach is very quiet and located in Central area in São Sebastião city, near Infrastructure and services around like Hospital, Mall, Restaurants, Gas Stations, Banks, Supermarket... the Sun sets by the water, so Outstanding Sunset by the Ocean, near other beaches around accessed by car driving through windy mountainous roads by Serra do Mar State Natural Park that is very well preserved, you can spend every day in a different beach reached by car and the furthest took around 30/40 min drive (Maresias), others we had been were Cambury and Camburysinho just next door with easy access and parking spaces - there's a river that separates both beaches and can be easy crossed with water covering by your chest; Barra do Sahy Beach - quieter small strong waves beach with a river that reaches ocean and little chapel crossing a wooden bridge with more difficult access and parking but near larger Baleia beach with easier access; Barra do Una beach - beautiful long beach with option to swim by the fresh water river or ocean side and easier to find parking space and access; Juquehy Beach that has very calm waters but one of the busiest and crowded areas with lots of traffic, ....and when rainning we either stayed around by the mall and restaurants nearby or drove around 1h (heavy traffic) to Historic São Sebastião to visit the Cathedral, Museums, walked around historic cobblestone streets and Restaurants.

Read morequando li as avaliações da praia encontrei vários relatos de que era perigosa e quase impossível para banhistas... não sei se tive sorte ou se as pessoas que exageram kkkkkk passei uma temporada nessa praia (meio/canto direito, onde dizem ser "pior") e no geral foi super tranquilo. as ondas não estavam grandes e o segredo foi entrar na água e não ficar no raso, onde as ondas quebram, e sim um pouquinho pro fundo. nesse ponto, pra mim, a água estava no nível do tórax. não senti correnteza puxando, pelo contrário, consegui até boiar tranquilamente na água pq a tendência é que o mar te leve pra perto da areia. a areia é grossa e fofa, tem várias conchinhas quebradas e a água é muito limpa com vários peixinhos nadando por perto. o único ponto negativo são as pessoas que levam cachorro e não recolhem a sujeira... pra quem pensa em levar crianças, o canto esquerdo é uma boa opção! uma boa ideia também é ir para camburizinho, que é super perto de Boiçucanga e a praia não é de tombo. ah! e o por do sol é o mais bonito do litoral norte, vale a pena...
