I visited this beach as part of NCL Cruise's "Best of Tortola" excursion, although the experience did not live up to its promising title. The journey to the beach was rough, and our tour guide failed to provide clear instructions before rushing off to his break. Upon arrival, we were directed to a man selling chairs. Apparently, NCL's chairs were relegated to the back, while the best seats were reserved for Disney Cruise guests (totally fine and not a big deal).
Echoing a review from TripAdvisor, I, too, encountered a very rude chair vendor who was hostile and unhelpful when I asked simple questions about the fees and allocation (N.B. I also saw many tourists from my group use those chairs, so he clearly wasn't effective at keeping tourists from the wrong group away). As I hadn't paid for the excursion myself, I naturally sought clarification, but his response was rude and hostel, even asking me to vacate the chairs to someone else who really wanted it.
Beyond this incident, the bar staff were also distant and unwelcoming.
It was very hard to enjoy the beach given this experience. Certainly not worth risking our lives...
Read moreLovely beach! Very carribean with the vibes and music, food and drink shacks, nice bathrooms big enough for changing clothes, and friendly & kind staff. We taxied from the cruise port, it was about a 30 minute drive. When we arrived we were greeted by a nice girl who led us to some lounge chairs with an umbrella. She gave us complimentary water bottles with ice cups. They have lots of food and drinks available for purchase as well. We brought our floaties and were in the water for a long time! The water drops off fairly quickly, about 7 feet of touchable ground before it gets really deep. Water was refreshing, not too cold at all. It felt nice under the hot sun. Would...

Portable toilettes (or porta-potty) are located at the location as 3 made-showers. Wifi is availabe and 2 bars as well. Bring cash (for security purposes) because if you want to use your credit card, they will write your card information to be...
