I remember this beautiful place like yesterday, at the time we went there weren't clear directions so all we had was a description we read prior. We tied up out boat and took our dingy to shore. We came across two other confused groups of people and being children we just started walking and exploring.
Vividly remember finding tracks and being proud then an older gentleman next to me repeating my find louder. Very funny looking back given how much stake I had in it at the time.

Read moreCool spot to visit. There’s a short hike, about 20 min each way from the boat dock. The path is visible and clean and some signage along the way. Once at the bubbly pool there isn’t much to see or do but getting in the bubbly pool is refreshing after the short hike and it’s fun when the waves come crashing in and you experience all the bubbles. It can be dangerous as the force of the water can push you back out into the open sea. I wouldn’t allow children too close to the mouth as they can be swept away. Read moreThe only tough part can be getting out to Foxy's Taboo. The cab industry in JVD is a bit tough. We left our 18 year old daughter and her friend at Hendos and they taxied over. They were charged $50 instead of $30 but once we got past that ripoff the Bubbly Pool was great. My wife and I went first before the kids got there, swam around for 20 minutes then went to Foxy's Taboo for a couple of cold ones and then took the kids back up for a second time....
