Kampong Lambak Mosque is located about 15km from Bandar Seri Begawan. The construction of this mosque on the 28th. November, 1992 with an expenditure of $3,228,888.88. and ready on the 14th. January, 1994.

The official opening of this mosque was completed by His Royal Highness Her Royal Highness Pengiran Bendahara Seri Maharaja Permaisuara Pengiran Muda Haji Sufri Bolkiah on Saturday, the 1st. Muharram, 1415 is equivalent to the 11th. June, 1994 in conjunction with the beginning of the new year Hijrah 1415. The capacity of this mosque can accommodate a total of 1,400 pilgrims. Among the facilities available in this mosque is the kutubkhanah room.

Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “Arrange the rows in order, stand shoulder to shoulder, close the gaps, be accommodating to your brothers, and do not leave gaps for Satan. Whoever joins up a row, he will be joined to Allah (i.e., to the Mercy of Allah); and whoever cuts off a row, he will be cut off from Allah (i.e., from His Mercy).”...
