Tasek Lama Recreational Park is an absolutely wonderful place for anyone looking to relax, unwind, or enjoy some outdoor activities. It’s perfect for a peaceful escape from a busy lifestyle. Whether you want to walk, hike, or simply enjoy nature, this park has something for everyone.

For hikers, there are several trails that vary in difficulty, offering a great way to explore the natural beauty of Brunei. The trails lead through lush greenery, and for those looking for a challenge, some of them can be a bit steep—but definitely worth it for the views and sense of accomplishment.

One of the highlights is the beautiful waterfall, which you can find while hiking through the park. The sound of the cascading water adds to the peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for relaxation or a quick nature break.

If you're into birdwatching, this park is also a great place to spot various species, thanks to its rich, natural environment. And best of all, the entrance is totally free—a rare gem that offers such a peaceful experience without any cost.

I highly recommend Tasek Lama for those who want to disconnect, get some fresh air, and enjoy the tranquility of nature. It's a perfect spot to recharge, whether you're a hiker or simply looking for a serene...

Foreigners who are nature lovers and have 90 minutes to spare in Bandar Seri Begawan should definitely visit this place. Upon entering, start by visiting the Tasek Wooden Tower, which can be reached by following the Tasek Twin Stairs. The trail might be slightly rough and challenging, but the effort is good for your body. There's not much up there except for the wooden platform, but it offers a nice view. There are two trails leading to other mountains, but they are a few kilometers further. Afterward, you can retrace your steps and head toward the water reservoir.

At the Tasek Reservoir, you’ll find a tall Tasek Tower that you can climb. The trail to the tower features various species of pitcher plants, including very tiny and big ones. Next, visit the Tasek Lama Waterfall. Lastly, take some time to relax in the recreational park. There are also monkeys here having their best time...

A clean and tranquil park near the city. It's just maybe a 25 mins walk from the city center (i walk really fast though). There's a tower for viewing but most sides of the views are obstructed by tree branch. Maybe the tower is not tall enough.

There's also a trail for those who wants to do a bit of hiking. Although being with local guide is a must as there's not a lot of waypoint at the trail. I even have to turn back after 5/6 way reaching sarang elang because idk why there's no more waypoint.

Anyway, i gave 4 star because it's not a "must visit" place for tourists. If i stay at BSB i'll definitely rate it a 5 because i'll most likely will do a lot of workout there. Running, jogging and...
