DAMUAN RECREATIONAL PARK BRUNEI DARUSSALAM 🇧🇳 Damuan Recreational Park located just beside His Majesty's Palace, The Istana Nurul Iman about four and a half kilometers from the heart of the capital Bandar Seri Begawan. The area covers a kilometer stretch filled with various facilities such as playgrounds, walking path as well as a restaurant for visitors. Enclosed within the park is the ASEAN Square, displaying the work of a sculptor from each of the original six ASEAN member countries, namely Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines. Themed "Harmony in Diversity" symbolizes ASEAN solidarity and the aspiration of its member countries, which is love, peace, freedom and mutual respect. The sculptures were completed during the fourth ASEAN Square Sculpture Symposium, which lasted from the 11th January to 24th February 1986. Visitors can enjoy the tranquil environment, surrounded by tropical foliage and nearby waterways. The park is also a popular venue for community events and social gatherings, enhancing its role as a recreational hub in the city.

Nice recreation park with some annoying mosquito, remember to bring a repellent if u not intend to move around. The park is aged yet bring out the mesmerising feeling of extraordinary, A comfortable ancient park that is good as it is without maintenance! It wont be bad to modernise this park into a forestry theme to house some animal like zoo Photo Contributed by TFL

Really nice park that is separated into 2 sections (Long distance route & Short distance route) with great view of the river and the Palace. The park seems to be popular with others as well given there are many joggers and runners in the park during the evening time . The walkway are pretty well mainted with ample parking space.
