Крепост „Петрича“ (Петрич кале)

The fortress itself is still under uncovering and renovating. The archaeological digging is still ongoing, so there isn't much to see, really. The museum is closed. The entrance is through the woods and not marked in any way, so it's really hard to find it and reach it. The walk uphill takes 20 min and it's a proper hike. The mosquitos are terrible so bring the repellant with you. The entry point is near a local water-pipe at the outskirts of the village - not outside of it! Mind this, coz...

IMPORTANT! It's impossible to drive there from the village of Razdelna, regardless of what your navigation says. Save yourself the hassle. There's three kilometres of terrible road (more potholes than roads), that ends at the gate of a private property. The sign says that vehicles are charged 5 BGN for transit, but there's no one there. I have notified the mayor's office of the village, asking them to put up a sign warning travellers, but who knows if they'll actually do it. Apparently...
