Read moreThe oldest tree in Bulgaria happens to be over 1300 years old. Holy cow, That's a very long time!
To reach it, you drive up a narrow mountain-side road which is part of the Pirin mountains, where Bansko's Ski attractions are located. The best time to visit the tree is during the Summer. During Winter, the road is closed off, so access is only available by foot.
