Белославското езеро е свързано чрез изкуствен канал с Варненското езеро.След прокопаването на канала през 1923 г. нивото на езерото се понижава с цели два метра и от сладководно става солено.През 1970 г се извършва разширяване и удълбаване на канала....Въпреки, че е доста експлоатирано и многократно замърсявано ,то продължава да е красиво....В западната му част се намира пристанище...
