Really great park! It has a clean pond with fish, frogs and ducks in it (and pigeons and crows around it), has lots of people but not too many, has great skate ramps, ice lakes for the winter, dog playgrounds, kids playgrounds and a lot more! It has tennis courts that transforms into a big ice skate park in the winter, has beautiful gardens, and a rose garden, lots of benches, a lot of free space on the grass, cool sculptures made of dead trees, volleyball courts, football (soccer) stadium, two nice hotel-restaurants - Izida and Lebed (Swan), velo-alley, cool historical statues, a Museum, a summer theatre, a mini carnival-like place.. Read moreThis is a very large and pleasant open space. I was amazed at the size of it and the massive artificial lake. We went on a grey October day and the lake had been drained but still I give 5 stars because of how well maintained it was. Entry is free plenty of seating, most of the bars and restaurants shut now and very quiet but still a great place for a run or walk or ride. Plenty of stuff for kids to do...

Parking is far from abundant, but you could probably reach it by walking (unless you're not staying at the Izida hotel right, so you are already at the heart of it). At the entrance that's far from the city's central square there's a skate park, that's very popular.
People don't use the park for picnics, which is a shame. If you do, you might get strange, surprised looks....
